License Renewal Deadline:
Every two years by the last day of the month in which the license was issued.
Continuing Education Requirements:
Electricians in the state of Virginia must complete the following in order to renew their license: 3 hours of continuing education every 3 years. (Prior to 2019, this was every 2 years) Courses must be approved by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.
